FISHING ORGANIZATIONS in the State of Washington
Cast
for Kids Foundation
A volunteer organization that works with disabled and disadvantaged
designed so that children could spend a day of fishing with adults
that share their love of fishing, teaching them also an appreciation
for natural resources. They also have a program called Fishing Kids
http://www.castforkids.org/Fishing_Kids/fishingkids.html which is
a program where urban children can enjoy the fishing that the State
of Washington has to offer.
Western
Washington Walleye Club
Founded in 1989, the club educates the public on fishing for Walleye
and other spiny ray species. They also work to fight pollution in
the waters, and much more. Web site includes a Solunar Calendar
with the best fishing times.
Clark-Skamania
Flyfishers
For 25 years the club has been sharing rod and net building, fly
tying, casting and many other flyfishing skills with fellow members.
There are also club outings for the members to bring their families,
or come alone. Several classes such as Introduction to Fly fishing,
Introduction to Fly tying, Tying Bass Bugs, Rod building, and Net
